We decided to do the interview at school because it would be easiest for us and the magazine is about the school. I interviewed him after school and before he had pre season practice. This picture shows the entrance to the football field. That archway has been there for many years and it really shows the schools history.

I will be interviewing Conner Stewart. He is a sophomore at Sarasota High School and played on the junior varsity baseball team last season. He plays 2nd base and outfield. We decided it was best to talk after school. The questions i will ask him are: 1) What are your goals this season? 2) What do you wish to improve on? 3) What are your goals as a team? 4)What other positions would you like to try? 5) What game are you most excited for this season? These questions will benefit the reader by learning more about the athletes view on the sport and the team.

Other articles i included in my flat pan are last seasons records, committed athletes, equipment, different positions, goals, predictions, etc. I spaced out the ads to where they wouldn't be on top of each other and they would be spread out enough to where they were too much. The articles are about the school and past seasons and players so i think that will be interesting for the reader. I saw layouts like this in other magazines so i think it will be appealing.

For my table of contents i decided this layout was best to keep things simple yet appealing. I didn't want there to be too many distractions and I wanted it to be more straight to the point. Having many different things on one page where the main focus is supposed to be the pages not other things on the page. The page could look overwhelming and the main focus would be taken away from the point.

We came up with this title because we wanted something catchy but straight forward. Our magazine is about sports at Sarasota High School so we thought "Sota Sports" was the best fit. I chose these fonts because they reminded me most of something that is eye catching that is also about athletics. The magazine name looks appealing in the font and they go together well. I feel that those fonts aren't too formal for our topic.
