The issue I chose from this magazine is The ESPN 100 and the other 99 stories that mattered most in 2004. On the cover is David Ortiz.  David Américo Ortiz Arias, nicknamed "Big Papi", is a Dominican-American former professional baseball designated hitter and first baseman who played 20 seasons in Major League Baseball.   There was  multiple  Gatorade ads and Powerade ads in the magazine claiming that these sports drinks improve performance. There was also sports wear companies like Nike and Under Armour ads as well. 

The issue i chose from this magazine co mpany was Special Edition Fantasy '19. On the cover there are little sub titles that say "Nearly 400 player capsules" "Rankings, Top 200 by position", "Team Depth Charts, and How the Experts Picked". The player on the front is Jose Ramirez.  José Enrique Ramírez is a Dominican professional baseball third baseman for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball. He signed with Indians as an amateur free agent on November 26, 2009, and made his MLB debut on September 1, 2013.   There was  multiple  Gatorade ads and Powerade ads in the magazine claiming that these sports drinks improve performance. There was also sports wear companies like Nike and Under Armour ads as well. 

This issue is from Sporting News Magazine is from 2018. There is a little heading at the top that says "2018 Sporting News MLB Awards". On the cover is Mookie Betts from the Boston Red Sox.  Markus Lynn "Mookie" Betts is an American professional baseball right fielder for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball. In 2018 he became the first player in Major League history to win the Most Valuable Player, Silver Slugger, Gold Glove, batting title, and World Series in the same season . There was multiple  Gatorade ads and Powerade ads in the magazine claiming that these sports drinks improve performance. There was also sports wear companies like Nike and Under Armour ads as well. 

Baseball America's mostly only have one player on them. For example, the issue "The Prodigy" has Ronald Acuna on it and there is a little side note saying "Braves teen phenom Ronald Acuna is our minor league player of the year." Ronald Acuna    is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball. He made his MLB debut in 2018, and won the National League Rookie of the Year. In the magazine, the advertisements are about sports drinks and sports companies. There is an article on Ronald and about his accomplishments. 

The 5 magazines I researched about baseball were Baseball Digest, Baseball America, Baseball Magazine, Sporting News, and USA Today Sports Weekly.  The cover layout of a magazine from Baseball Digest has "Today's Toughest Out's" written in bold and orange letters in the upper middle left of the page. It also states the closer towards the bottom of the page in smaller orange letters. There is 3 different players all from different teams on the cover as well. One is up to bat, one appears to be on base, and another is standing with the bat on their shoulders in a photo shoot. The people on the front were Jose Altuve, Dustin Pedroia, and Miguel Cabrera. There are several ads scattered throughout the magazine. Some are about sports brands like Under Armour or Nike. There are also some sports drinks ads too.

I have decided to do a magazine. I felt that if I chose something i liked to write about then i would enjoy doing the project. I am going to write about baseball and interview my boyfriend who plays for Sarasota High. I felt this was the perfect opportunity to write about something i'm interested in and i ave the perfect source for it. If I enjoy the topic I have no problem writing about. I know a lot about the sport and I go to a lot of my boyfriends games. I will write about the dedication and time and practice the sport takes. I will also choose a couple pro players in the mlb and write about their come up and how they built up their career.

A film interests me because of the process and commitment. A film isn't writing and giving information about a source, but there is a cast and it tells a story. A film is supposed to entertain people and make them want to watch it. There is always characters, a plot, sometimes a conflict, resolution, scenes, dialogue, and visuals. Some people like films more because they enjoy visuals more. Visuals bring pictures to life. Ferris Bueller was very entertaining and always left the audience wanting more. I feel i could produce a film that would really catch the readers attention.
